Cat Love Decor

Cat Love Decor

If you're a cat lover you've come to the right place!

Cats have been my favorite pet since childhood. They have been with me every day and spent as much time in my art studio as I have ... maybe more since they sleep there, too, after I've finished working for the day. Consequently, I've done dozens of drawings and paintings of cats both real and imaginary. Cats simply captivate me!

My cats have been a continual source of inspiration. Other cat lovers will understand completely! We simply can't get enough of cats. In fact, many of us are probably cat-addicts!

When I started my Art Love Decor store, I wanted to include my cat artwork and offer it as both wall art and decor items. I've selected a few of my favorite drawings and paintings to add to my Cat Love Decor product line that are beautiful, fun and bring the energy and joy of cats into home or work spaces wherever they are placed.

This got me thinking about why so many people are cat crazy. What is it about cats that people love?

We all know about the nature of cats, such as:

 - They are independent, playful, curious and affectionate
 - They are known for their agility, grace, and ability to groom themselves
 - They have a calming presence and can provide comfort to their owners.

And on top of that, cats are beautiful. They are considered artwork in action by many. The poetry of cats is described as elegant and mysterious, while their movements are fluid and their eyes are captivating. Cats have inspired many poets and writers throughout history with their beauty and enigmatic nature.

In the wild cats are competent hunters. They are skilled jumpers and climbers and use their claws as weapons and their tales for balance. They are thought to have 9 Lives!

For me, the best thing about cats is they encourage love and inspire poetry in the lives of the people who have them. So I found some beautiful quotes about cats written by the people who love them:

A cat stretches from one end of my childhood to the other.
- Blaga Dimitrova

Cats are dogs with a college education.
- Grace Hodgson

Friends may come and go, but cats accumulate.
- Bob McMahon

- Hazel Nicholson

 A meow massages the heart.
- Stuant McMillan

-Paula Jenks

- Donna McCrohan

- Harold Weiss

- Marilyn Peterson

- Sy Fischer

- M. Malloy

- Austin Hunter

- M. Malloy

- Nan Porter

- Sark

Whatever words you use to describe cats, they are all true.

And when cats are part of the family, there are well documented benefits from having a cat:

 - Cats provide companionship, reduce stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure and can even help with depression
- They help their owners stay active by encouraging play and exercise
- The purring of a cat has a calming effect on humans.

So, it's no wonder I love cats!

I concluded I'll always need cats and would be lost without them.
